Silman: Margaret Cowie

This week for speaker series Margaret Cowie from Silman will be joining us! Margaret will be talking about the process to base isolate the Smithsonian Castle located in the National Mall in Washington DC! “The Castle” as it is referred to, is one of the most historically significant buildings in the country, and because of this the retrofitting efforts we’re challenged by the goal to not modify the existing architecture.
