Kal Benuska, SE is a Partner with John A. Martin & Associates, Inc., a privately-owned structural engineering firm with offices in Northern and Southern California. With more than 37 years of experience, Mr. Benuska is experienced in the design, retrofit and construction of a wide range of project types, including educational facilities, hotels, office buildings, retail, entertainment venues, and mixed-use facilities. This experience is coupled with a dedication to structural system design that both optimally and functionally meets aesthetic design and structural/seismic requirements. Mr. Benuska has authored multiple publications on the analysis of seismic performance and is active in professional and community organizations on structural design.
