DCI Engineers’ Nina Munj, Associate, and Stella Bates, Senior Project Manager, present, “The Sustainable Benefits of Tall Mass Timber” – a walk-through of the world’s tallest mass timber building a high seismic zone, 1510 Webster. Located in Oakland, California, 1510 Webster is also the first Type IV-A tall mass timber building in North America and the first high-rise in the world to utilize a point-supported mass timber system with mass plywood panels (MPP). Nina and Stella will discuss the sustainability highlights of this 19-story, 200,000-sf, mixed-use commercial and residential (112 units) development.
